I've been using Q post 148779656 as my primary template for testing. Since Q bracketed letters in that post, I'm assuming that he would have bracketed them following whatever the key pattern is.

I observe that the first [C] follows a 5 letter word. That makes it the 6th letter. However, it also follows a 4 and a 5 letters word, "Trip added." Those two words add up to 9, so the [C] could get marked either as the 6th letter after a 5 letter word, or as letter 6 starting at the beginning of a 5 letter word.

The other anon I was working with gave a set of 3 5 letter words. Salim "Sunny" Malik and then this cryptic hint.

In that case, the first letter of the 5 letter word would be position 5. Marking the first letter of the next word would be marking position 10, so that would make sense.

The thing that confuses me is that the letter [C] bracketed in the post is not incremented and can't be incremeted if it's still going to spell out "CIA."

This makes me wonder if we should be paying attention to the bracketed letters in that post at all. Alternatively, maybe one doesn't increment or decrement after a 5 letter word.

I did go through and note all anomolies on paper. I'm in the process of screenshotting them so I can post them here.

As for page numbers, the Kindle version has a sliding scale across the bottom rather than page numbers. I tried finding a pattern, but every time you scroll, you get slightly different numbers for the same page. I could not see a pattern in those numbers, but that doesn't mean they are not there.

Yes, I've been in this post for days. I've got dozens of copies printed out and marked up. Q asked why certain things were repeated. The obvious answer is to emphasize, but if theres a word pattern, repeating the same stuff might make it easier for whoever wrote it to hide things. The same line or group of words might say different things if you use different starting points or different offsets on it.

One thing that I'm pretty sure of is that if there is a pattern, it has to be someting that we can prove out using stuff in the Q posts. I came up with a couple of patterns that did effectively bracket specific lines and link them to signatures. The problem was that it didn't illuminate anything that wasn't already apparent.

I'm thinking there are two parts to the cipher.

First the word length pattern 3,6,9 or fibonacci sequence of squares marks a letter or pair of letters.

Second, we use this 0, 1 and -1 to transpose the marked letters. For instance , the letter U would become V if the offset were 1, and it would become T if the offset were -1

In the Hillary version the same number of stars are there, but they are modified by offsets slightly below the line.

When the Hillary version converted to PDF, the stars went back to the original configuration.

So, we are working with a cipher that modifies characters by marking them and off-setting them slightly as opposed to word patterns bracketing other complete words. It's character by character.

The Essenes have the answer to the meaning and use of 3,6,9.

It makes 4 two different ways. 8/2=4 and the lowest sequence that adds up to 8 1+3+4=8.

44 could be 4+4=8. Mark the 8th letter. If we start counting at the first letter of "trip added," it hits the [C] that Q bracketed, so that could work.

For the big number -2322, if we added the numbers together, that would add up to -9 which might mean moving back 9 spaces.

The negative makes sense since "about" is longer than "Huma."

Following the logic that worked with "trip added" to hit the [C], we count backward either from the last letter of "Huma" which gives us an "a." Or we count back from the first letter of "about" which gives us an "o."

Unfortunately, "about Huma" isn't on a post that Q bracketed, so we'd need to run a bunch more tests to see if anything spells out.

How much work is it to figure the determinant? Are you doing it manually or is there a simple program you can just plug it into?

Also, I noticed that adding up the digits of the determinate for "about Huma" resulted in the same number of letters as in the original words. If that worked out consistently, it would be a handy shortcut.

Connection to Alice/Hillary - what if the 4+5 (if we go off the 4*5=12 rule…potentially 3+6 also) words for the determinants we are looking for are contained in Alice. From Alice/Hillary, we go to the Q post, looking at time stamps.

With the order - potential this relates to the order of the numbers in the sequence to calculate the determinant or the order in which letters are placed into a matrix (i.e. row wise or column wise). Wonderland - world of disorder

2) 1,2 are ordinals. Mark 1st letter of second line below. (The problem with this is that the first ordinal is always going to be 1, so we'd always be marking the first letter of a line. That does not appear to work since Q's brackets show up all over the place.

3) "added" is 5 letters 5+1=6 a magic number. When we have 6 mark the first letter of the next word?

4) The first letter of the 4 letter is "T." T could be a magic number from Q's 4,10,20, so if the 4 letter word starts with T mark the first letter of the next word.

5)First operation in a set of three go right. 1+2=3 magic number mark first letter.

I'm thinking an 8 letter word "attached" makes 2 four letter words that operate outward on the adjacent words to the right and left. In this theory, there are several ways to get to both bracketed letters.

1) "Cont[I]nue attached"

a) "Continue atta/ched" 4*8=15 15-12=3 (from name fag suggestion on Hillary math) Count 12 letters backward from the "d" of attached.

b) "Continue atta" 4*8=15 1+5=6 (magic number). Second operation of set of 3, so go 3 backward and mark the next?

c) "Continue atta" 8*4=51 (maybe Hillary's magic math creates a mirror when the number order is reversed) 5,1 ordinals mark 5th letter of word before.

d) "Continue atta" 4*8=15 mark 5th letter of word before counting from beginning.

2)"Atta/ched gr[A]phic" 4*7=14

a)"Atta/ched graphic 4*7=14 14-11=3. Counting from a of "attached" count 11 spaces and mark.

And so on . . . ! Since there are multiple ways to arrive at the correct letter, there must be a rule somewhere in a Q post or Hillary that would tell us. Alternatively we just keep testing until we get something consistent.

For the 8 letter words, I had an idea and I tested on Hillary, Four Five, Five Seven (all references to Hillary in Wonderland).

Hillary = 7 letter which means see is missing 2, two zeros would hold the missing places in the 3x3 matrix

Hillary determinant = 3750

** Interesting coincidence… the '5th' and '7th' spots in the equation were the only locations that had values, the remaining places (1,2,3,4,6) had zeros.

Four Five = 8 letter word, one letter is missing in matrix and 0 takes its place.

Four five determinant = 1818

*Places 2,5,6,7 had number values, while 1,3,4 had 0s

*Five Seven = 9 letters, no missing letters or place holders needed

Determinant = -6840

The process is automated now so I can crank through them faster. I will run the ones you suggested and what we get.

I spent half of last night thinking about time stamps. I'm a little dubious.

If there actually is embedded code, the posts would take quite some time to prepare. You could plan a time for the posting, but if something went wrong by even a minute on the actual post, the code would be broken for that post. Also, time stamps are local to the viewer. You are in CST and I am in PST. Even if we were both using the exact same decription key, your results would be different from mine because we'd see different time stamps for each post.

Q asked us to start making the map after the initial posts he had no way to know which time zone the compiler would be in.

I think you are on to something here. I notice that Q split the 10 letter word "Wonderland" into "Saudi Arabia."

So if we split words over 10 letters, then the "[C]oordinated" bracket could make sense as an offset from the 5 letter sub-word split.

Using the logic you taught me, we could split the 11 letter word into 1+2+3+5 (smallest number). That would make the last 5 letters the five letter marker word. I tested that and got a bingo using imaginary math.

I did a little reality check today.

If the "interesting visitors" know the code and want us to "discover" it, then the code has to be something simple enough to show to the main thread. I agree with your thought process, I had a similar thought driving home from work. With our interesting visitors, it feels there is an interesting pattern to their help/involvement with us.
