No doubt nuclear testing was one hell of a wake-up call for a lot of... somethings.

[–]saturdaynightr 206 points207 points  (65 children)

I was just thinking about that last night. Stories about aliens, various sightings, etc didn't really take off until after WW2. Our ability to kill a large chunk of ourselves with the push of a button made us known to other intelligent beings on and off this planet.

[–]Andersledes 111 points112 points  (49 children)

Stories about aliens, various sightings, etc didn't really take off until after WW2.

Before the alien craze, people used to see other stuff instead, like elves, trolls, faeries etc.

Not saying any of it is real, just that "aliens" wasn't really a new thing that just popped up out of nowhere.

They're more of an evolution in folklore.

I find it weird, that the fact everyone's carrying around HD cameras everywhere, all the time now, hasn't resulted in more good photos of ufo's or aliens. They're still mostly that same crappy, shakey low-res pictures.

That alone is enough for me to think that the phenomenon isn't real.

[–]threeamighosts 39 points40 points  (19 children)

Why don’t you go birdwatching with your iPhone in a treeless area, and see how good the images are.

[–]earthboundmissfit 19 points20 points  (8 children)

Drops the 🎤....cell phone cameras are s***** compared to what they should be. Said it somewhere before that I think it's a conspiracy in itself.

[–]arooge 12 points13 points  (5 children)

Yea cell companies only want to make slightly better phones each year even though they could make WAY better phones now.

[–]DimeLord11 15 points16 points  (0 children)

The practice is called "Planned Obselesence Capatalism". Society could be a hell of a lot more advanced but those technologies are released to civilians in lower quality incriments, various entities and the military take advantage of the higher end stuff though most is just R&D.

[–]screw_all_the_names 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's probably more of a money thing tho. If they were to give people the best camera they have, then 2 years down the line people won't want to "upgrade" because they already have the best.

[–]screw_all_the_names 0 points1 point  (2 children)

That's probably more of a money thing tho. If they were to give people the best camera they have, then 2 years down the line people won't want to "upgrade" because they already have the best.

[–]arooge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh 100% it's a money thing. Why make the best phone possible every 2-3 years when you can put out a slightly upgraded model every 6 months and double your profits.

[–]Trotskyslovechild 17 points18 points  (8 children)

I actually tried to photograph a robin yesterday. Utter potato.

[–]Just_Another_AI 6 points7 points  (3 children)

Same, but with a hummingbird. To say a cellphone cam doesn't do them justice is an understatement

[–]AdmirableZone878 0 points1 point  (3 children)

Where are people using potato with regards to cameras/pictures 😂

[–]Trotskyslovechild 1 point2 points  (1 child)

like it was taken with a potato :D

[–]AdmirableZone878 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like it 😂👍🏻

[–]Trotskyslovechild 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right here buddy. Right here.

[–]Responsible_Papaya93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have an XR and the image quality is pretty terrible

[–]crispydeluxx 22 points23 points  (5 children)

Yeah especially the fact that a lot of the supposed military footage of UFOs is captured on potatos. It’s like, if we all have these hi-res cameras in our pockets these days you’d expect the military to have something better.

But then again…it’s the military. I wouldn’t be surprised if they literally were using a potato.

[–]Nlawrence55 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Do you understand that most of the videos where they catch these crafts are at EXTREME speeds so I don't think you can just pull your phone out and catch a craft flying at 600 mph+ Also I guess you're not aware that alot of military cameras are thermal scans and sonar readings.

[–]syntaxxx-error 2 points3 points  (1 child)

When something is a good distance away, your eyes can focus better than a hi-res camera which isn't going to get much detail without a good zoom lense. Which most people don't have and even those who do aren't going to have them on their person all the time. That isn't something you have on your camera unless you're in the process of using it.

[–]HothFirstTrumpet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The other thing that doesn't help things is that phone cameras use digital zoom. They make the image larger by lowering the resolution. Cell phones are no damn good for anything at a distance. Nothing with digital zoom is any damn good at a distance.

[–]myroomateisbanned 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A potato they paid a billion dollars for to a private contractor who has a buddy in Congress.

[–]counterpointblank 14 points15 points  (4 children)

The 'evolution of folklore' is an interesting idea but maybe there's more of a cultural phenomenon too? The rise in science fiction writings may have played a part.

I like to think that there is intelligent life existing that isn't human but you're right, there are still no quality photos. That being said, I've personally tried taking photos of the moon or stars and I always get low-quality photos. I'm sure there are a few people sitting out at night with their HD cameras aimed at the sky hoping to capture something, maybe one day that will pay off instead of someone pulling their phone out to grab a quick picture.

[–]Ok-Opportunity4536 8 points9 points  (3 children)

Their had been story's from men in the 1800s. Being abducted by beings coming out of flying metal. But I think the only reason you didnt hear about it as much is because of the ability to spread news before the telegram and I'm guessing before the world wars seeing an alien was way less. Common than thinking you saw an troll which is said to be an cave dwelling alien species that likes to fool humans.

[–]AdmirableZone878 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s also what looks like ufos on very old artworks

[–]Trotskyslovechild 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I grew up in an Irish Catholic community. Fairies, souls, ghosts, exorcisms and speaking in tongues were just talked about like a bit weird but absolutely real. Stories from generation after generation.

[–]Appropriate-Pear4726 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m surprised this isn’t a more commonly held opinion. Every culture has its folklore describing a similar entity. Our modern myth was created by social engineers such as HG Wells and Spielberg. Throw in modern mythology such as Roswell, The Babylon Working, The Bennewitz Affair, The Dulce Wars.

[–]ProfPyncheon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try taking a photo of a commercial jet at cruising altitude with a phone camera. Even the most advanced phone camera won't be able to capture any significant detail since phone cameras are designed for taking pictures of things up close. So were Polaroids, and Kodaks back in the day. Basically, the average Joe has never, at any point since 1947, been carrying around the right equipment to capture a quality photo of a UFO, and that's even if you think to use it while you're staring at something that you aren't quite sure what it is.

[–]kraotic8321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with you.

I've considered all of this and find odd that the military are putting these crappy videos of UFOs, suspicious. I don't believe them for one second, it's just distractions.

I've also considered that the sightings of UFOs from individuals are in part a demonic presence. To believe in this you must believe that their is at least a higher being, for good and evil?

How does Cern play into the sightings today? They appear to be transparent but at the same time much of the operations are not discussed. Dark matter is vast and very mysterious. I find it interesting but at the same time I feel like they are experimenting with stuff that is very risky.

[–]punkinhat 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Images of the craft/beings (sometimes one and the same) are only captured if they allow it. They're telepathic and seem to be able to transcend our time as well.

[–]Dormant123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go out and try to take a picture of an airplane with your smart phone! You’ll see why it’s not getting better yet!

[–]myroomateisbanned 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try taking a video of a normal passenger airplane at 20,000 feet with your iPhone 12 Pro Max and tell me how detailed it is

[–]AdmirableZone878 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The US came out recently and stated that UFO’s or UAE’s as they’re now called are here and they don’t know what they are. Now obviously I’m not saying this is true or that it’s aliens but it is interesting 🤔

[–]AdmirableZone878 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s also strange that how ufos or aliens 👽 look sort of gets took onto the public conscious or maybe it’s not 🤔😂

[–]xBASHTHISx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find it weird, that the fact everyone's carrying around HD cameras everywhere, all the time now, hasn't resulted in more good photos of ufo's or aliens. They're still mostly that same crappy, shakey low-res pictures.

It's because everyone is looking down at the screen of their HD cameras and not the sky to notice what's going on right above them to take the picture. Having said that there are plenty of pics and videos out there that people have been sharing.

[–]podolot 72 points73 points  (0 children)

Before the the mid 1900s, we didn't have the knowledge and technology to really distinguish between whatight have been advanced society and the cosmos, nor did we have the ability to spread the ends across the globe in an instant. So even if people saw stuff, there was no way to easily photograph it or share with the world.

[–]moeronSCamp 57 points58 points  (1 child)

Do you ever think sometimes that the real reason for the massive nuclear arms race between the U.S./Russia was actually a clandestine operation, and we collectively as humans were 'flexing our arms' so-to-speak to anything that might be out there?

How many times have we heard something like, "we have so many nukes to destroy the world 1000x times over.." Why?

[–]Brodom93 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I’ve always felt the complexities of the Cold War era were just the tip of the ice berg for a lot of things we thought we understood on the surface.

[–]kabbylinky 42 points43 points  (3 children)

And that's not excluding the Nazi expeditions to South America, Tibet, Africa, etc. that really turned the natural world on its head for the first time in recent recorded history

[–]VelvitHippo 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I heard somewhere that the light from the two bombs that went off would’ve been visible from quiet far away. Probably a beacon to everyone around that we were here.

[–]Merlin560 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Communication, education, and exposure of the average person exploded during the 20th Century. Prior to WWII the average American was a farmer or factory worker. We took millions of people—sent them all over the world, and exposed them to the highest tech at the time. This made more people “curious” about this stuff, whereas before they would have been terrified.

That process has only accelerated—along with a distrust of all things government.

[–]Thelonecurrier 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"We discovered a 23rd century technology in the 20th century and we're too primitive for this shit."

-exurb1a

[–]bluegrassbarman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

H.G. and Orson would like a word...

[–]Practical-Swordfish 8 points9 points  (2 children)

Yeah correct and it explains why we see UFOs and aliens take interest in leaking nuclear reactors like Fukushima as well as weapons, if the NOAA story about underwater beings is true. I mean nuclear radiation would be pouring into their home.... lots of craft observed around Fukushima after the tsunami. Taking a clear interest in it

Maybe there’s a way we can cross reference the type of craft to what they describe these underwater beings driving

[–]ssilBetulosbA 6 points7 points  (1 child)

Honestly, if I was an underwater alien with super highly advanced tech and intelligence - and someone was throwing nukes into my backyard, I probably would warn them at first and then respond aggressively if they did not stop.

I mean humans have not only been dropping nukes in the ocean, they've been causing massive pollution there, from oil spills, to throwing hundreds of millions of tons of plastics in the ocean.

If I were an underwater advanced species, I'd be pretty pissed at this - and if had the tech to do something about it, I'd warn first, then probably make myself very fucking visible.

I wonder why this hasn't happened yet - or has it and this is why the nuke testing has stopped and concern for pollution among the otherwise reckless people in charge (among likely other reasons - perhaps some are legitimate ethical concerns for the environment since not everyone in charge is a psychopath) has heightened?

[–]Practical-Swordfish 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean If people were throwing plastics and waste into my home I’d be going Independence Day (with the aliens) on their asses for sure. So I’m in agreement

Just throwing my thoughts out there, maybe there’s a reason they haven’t attacked? Maybe that’s partly why environmentalism is suddenly being pushed hard. Not that it’s a bad thing. But Who knows.

What’s clear is that there was an uptick in UFO sightings after the invention of nuclear weapons which is interesting. Really makes me think ancient races on this planet could have wiped themselves out with something similar. Or nuclear weapons disturb other intelligent life in some way, maybe even through other density’s?

[–]syntaxxx-error 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep. If any of them lived near Bikini Island they would be extremely pissed.

[–]HorsedaFilla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unacknowledged is a good documentary that touches on this. By saying that extraterrestrial are more worried about what we are doing testing nukes and that is why they visit!

[–]1THRILLHOUSE 457 points458 points  (23 children)

It’s a cool idea but I’m going to need some form of evidence dawg.

[–]PM_ME_CHIPOTLE2 559 points560 points  (17 children)

Lol then you’re in the wrong place my friend. This is a creative writing sub.

[–]newfangles 154 points155 points  (9 children)

This is a creative writing post

FTFY. It's part of the people pushing the alien/big foot/mermaid angle as being the only right kind of conspiracy.

[–]nisaaru 61 points62 points  (5 children)

Wouldn't surprise me.

People only need to look into the "Asthenosphere" and rub a few brain cells together to come to the plain obvious BS conclusion.

[–]SeniorConsideration8 47 points48 points  (2 children)

Well yes you can say that but then their easy counter-argument would be that the science we are fed in schools is a ruse and used to cover up the actual truth.

At that point you're just in a circle arguing with each other so it isn't as plain obvious as you presume.

[–]shawnz 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The things you learn in school are tools to solve problems which actually occur in your real life. It should be easy to see if the things you learned don't actually solve any problem.

In OP's case there is no problem being solved. Nobody here has observed these things or any of the supposed impact they might have on our world. It is basically decorative knowledge, like a fiction novel. The evidence should come before the explanation, not after

[–]guitarandcheese 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why would they need eyes if they are in an environment with no light. Even fish who live at great depths often have no eyes. Whoevee wrote this piece has a creative mind and notmuch understanding of biology

[–]laiod 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It still is a fun thing to think about, however unlikely it may be.

[–]Extreme-Tea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

t's part of the people pushing the alien/big foot/mermaid angle as being the only right kind of conspir

I think so too. It's surprising that such a fiction story gets that many upvotes (1300 now) and is the first link in the hot section. It would totally make sense if OP added strong evidence for whatever he's claiming. But here there is zero evidence. Any user on this sub is able to write a short summary of Journey to the Center of the Earth by Jules Verne, then call it truth.

Let's not lose focus of the only conspiracy that matters atm : covid

[–]MafiaPenguin007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate this attitude because I love these kinds of conspiracies and posts, but I also fully understand this attitude because it's often 'one or the other' when it comes to political vs esoteric conspiracies here.

[–]Captain__Sterling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As opposed to demon pizza parlors or Joe Biden sniffing kids hair (everyone already knows that, but this sub is insistent that only they know politicians are corrupt and shady people)

[–]scorched-raven 24 points25 points  (2 children)

Is this a legit creative writing sub because until now a lot of the posts I’ve seen have been plausible conspiracy theories, but I’ve just wasted my time reading this hot garbage script

[–]crazyevilmuffin 10 points11 points  (0 children)

No the person you're responding to is trolling.

[–]earthboundmissfit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No! The trolls are always around intentionally discrediting this subject. They are wrong.

[–]tiger1296 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I legit thought I was in r/nosleep when I started reading the post

[–]myroomateisbanned 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, this is a Donald Trump worship sub with occasional stories about aliens which are eventually linked to global pedophile rings run by reptilian Democrats.

[–]Sergeant_M 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would think of a creative writing sub to be more like /r/nosleep

[–]Chkn_N_Wflz 28 points29 points  (0 children)

But dude, if you’ve ever taken grade school chemistry you’d know this!

[–]LivingIncident 5 points6 points  (2 children)

He is just expressing himself. I'm proud this specimen of human has such a good imagination. :) Anyone who believe what he writes would have to be pretty dumb though.

[–]pm-me-souplantation 44 points45 points  (1 child)

It was a refreshing break from political posts

[–]LivingIncident 3 points4 points  (0 children)

People are dumb to believe those too :)

[–]Phil_D_Snutz 278 points279 points  (28 children)

You spent your life working in this field but couldn't bother to post a single piece of evidence?

[–]MediumIntroduction96 234 points235 points 2 (10 children)

Who cares I'd love to see more of this. Its the first sub in a while thats interesting, doesnt include electuon fraud, Trump, or Biden.

[–]papitasconleche 24 points25 points  (1 child)

You must be new here...

[–]HolySabre 3 points4 points  (0 children)

He forgot the /s

[–]myroomateisbanned 2 points3 points  (2 children)

Well, you see, these sub aquatic species are agents of Satan and have a deal with the Democrats, Catholic Church, and globalist Jews to smuggle kidnapped children under the ocean floor and into the basements of pizza shops and bowling alleys and Donald Trump is our Brave Hero who was nuking their underwater bases which is why the aliens created fake ballots made out of Wuhan Bamboo as a vector for the Wuhan Flu which is a distraction from the demonic fake alien takeover of “planet” earth which is really not even a planet because planets don’t exist and are a lie made up by scientists to separate us from the love of our Lord God.

[–]Justhereforcowboys 52 points53 points  (5 children)

This is a conspiracy theory sub, you loon. Just enjoy the read and the speculation. I don’t understand how people can come to r/conspiracy and be so dismissive of an idea/post because they don’t include “evidence.”

[–]shogun_ 28 points29 points  (1 child)

Typically conspiracy's have a form of evidence. A hint or a photo. This guy has words and that's it. It's not a conspiracy. It's a fan fic.

[–]BIGel1990 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Conspiracy theories are not meant to be fantasy stories.... thats what gives the whole topic an increasingly bad name.

[–]shogun_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Typically conspiracy's have a form of evidence. A hint or a photo. This guy has words and that's it. It's not a conspiracy. It's a fan fic.

[–]noussr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Opinions and freedom of thought are being actively suppressed.

[–]_Enforcer 25 points26 points  (3 children)

Ikr. Post like OP is how flat earth people exist in the first place. Next thing you know the actual legit stuff are being branded next to it and can easily be discredit when exposed.

Oh wait, it already did.

[–]k-xo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It’s called muddying the waters

[–]thrashV_TTV 26 points27 points  (0 children)

/pol/ wouldn’t even take this bait

[–]crampedstyl 3 points4 points  (1 child)

Spoiler alert: nothing that could withstand the pressure in the middle of the Earth could ever come out and survive. It's impossible. Even deep water fish can't do it, and we are talking that depth multiplied exponentially.

[–]McCl3lland [score hidden]  (0 children)

[–]90tilinfinity 229 points230 points  (13 children)

Carl Sagan said crystallize is up next for humans evolution. Heard some other brilliant minds say that also.

Another wild fact about the Losharik it had a disproportionate amount of high ranking officials. Which led people to believe it was a test or drill of some sort making this theory even more plausible. Wild fucking times.

[–]Pitchuu64 93 points94 points  (10 children)

I believe silicone life was before carbon life. Carbon sucks for life. Our lives are short & prone to disease.

[–]3GamersHD 31 points32 points  (7 children)

Yes there was a very similar post in this subreddit a few months back when the alien talk/navy videos were a hot topic.

[–]Hindubjarne666 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This feels like a new narrative is being seeded. I would'nt be surprised if this is the leadup to a Project bluebeam type scenario.

[–]Sulfito 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Me too!

[–]wraith5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yea very similar story. They didn't go into depth about what the aliens looked like or where they lived but had the same premise that all sorts of people already knew about them and he was the only one willing to talk about it.

On a conspiracy forum on the internet. Just like op

[–]earthboundmissfit 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Similar yes! And they were ridiculed immensely. Might be the same person I'm sure. This is not r/nosleep material!

The trolling skeptics had a hay day. This is fact!

[–]samplebitch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes there was a very similar post in this subreddit a few months back when the alien talk/navy videos were a hot topic.

[–]niick767 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This post in definitely more in depth! The silicone based life form part is really fascinating. I love these long posts, it gets the imagination going for sure !

[–]Sufficient-Document3 114 points115 points  (8 children)

yeah man.. they go into outer space.. but never on land.. they just skipped that whole part of exploration and somehow went straight into space.........

lol

[–]The_Wombles 48 points49 points  (4 children)

How did the mermaid ppl steal our information from fiber optic cables if they don’t have access to materials in order to make devices that would be able to steal such information 🤔

[–]devils_advocaat 27 points28 points  (0 children)

They plug the cables into those weird eyes, suck up the data, then spit it out of their elephant trunk legs. Left leg puts the data back on the internet. Right leg stores the data as corral.

[–]YourRivalGary 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Subaquatic Circuit City

[–]ukdudeman 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Yeah that gear change from existing at 1000c to 3500c temps deep in the Earth’s crust to space exploration - hard pass on this LARP.

[–]camerontbelt 112 points113 points  (3 children)

Nice larp 10/10

[–]Cherubinek 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Reminds me of the old ads on the side of a website.

YOU WONT BELIEVE WHAT SCIENTISTS FOUND DEEP UNDERWATER!!!

HUMANOID FISH FOUND ON OCEAN FLOOR? SCIENTISTS DONT WANT YOU TO KNOW!

You click the ad and it takes you to a super sketchy website with 95% of the page covered with ads and a powerpoint presentation style article to make you open as many pages as possible to generate maximum revenue from ads.

[–]naturalbornkillerz 6 points7 points  (1 child)

Yeah this is kind of a longer more in-depth version of the one that was posted maybe five months ago. That seems pretty good, but then people dove into it and found out that OP had posted it other places to that kind of got dissolved. It’s a good read. With no sources or anything to back it up just a folklore story of a Soviet sub

[–]chrico031 101 points102 points  (3 children)

Now this is some quality sci-fi.

I look forward to your novel being published.

[–]slipperyjimbotoes 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I really hope this is true cuz it would be super interesting

[–]slipperyjimbotoes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really hope this is true cuz it would be super interesting

[–]Let_HerEat_Cake 101 points102 points  (3 children)

I love the weekends, when the shills clock out and this sub returns to its roots.

[–]chiefcrunch 16 points17 points  (2 children)

Biden and the deep state are working with these creatures to turn everyone trans! There, is that better?

[–]streetkiller 5 points6 points  (1 child)

Biden (a lizard person) vows to fight against Zuckerberg (a droid) who is trying to steal all of the worlds intelligence through chips in phones.

[–]PraDaJin 84 points85 points  (4 children)

"Anyone that took grade school chemistry knows that silicon crystallizes in a diamond cubic crystal structure. You'd also know that macro structures will resemble their micro, and nano constituents."

Where the fuck did you go to grade school? I remember making rockets and volcanos....

[–]Zensayshun 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I took IB Biology at a magnet school near D.C., and Mr. Char did mention that silicon was the second potential for life due to valence structure.

[–]EastCoastGrows 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The easiest way to think of it is like a kaleidoscope.

[–]Klangdon826 82 points83 points  (0 children)

Creative. Inventive, even. I really like the elephant trunk propulsion legs and three-fingered flipper hands.

[–]EarthquakesVolcanoes 74 points75 points  (22 children)

This lines up with the stuff the NOAA whistleblower posted awhile back. I was online for the original mermaid thread and the reaction was very off

/u/wittor threatened to report it to the NOAA as a hoax, which is a weird response to say the least when you know the types that browse this sub

Also Bill Cooper said he does not believe in aliens from space but watched a craft rise up from the water with his own two eyes

Waters above and waters below...

Edit - Mods can I post the entire NOAA post? If not can someone redact it for everyone?

Sample with no info of NOAA employee included

https://ibb.co/gw0FfD7

Edit 2 - another screen shot without any of her info

https://ibb.co/PNrzkQw

[–]Sharpen_The_Axe 39 points40 points  (0 children)

Just noticed this whistleblower and OP used the same wording talking about multibeam sonar scanning the ocean floor "in astounding detail".

Also talking about only evidence being sonar maps that would be meaningless if you don't know how to read them.

This could be the same person.

[–]DefiantDragon 7 points8 points  (18 children)

Drunvalo Melchizedeck apparently has met some of them.

[–]EarthquakesVolcanoes 38 points39 points  (17 children)

I still have the screen shots from the original mermaid thread and she says that it’s really well known that these things exist

She said they seem to travel in some sort of mercury solution. Who knows

This all lines up super well though and the response to the original mermaid thread was super suspect

[–]Ecoiszen 8 points9 points  (9 children)

Very interesting, is the NOAA thread still up? Pls post the screenshots and link me also.

[–]EarthquakesVolcanoes 12 points13 points  (8 children)

If mods say it’s okay I’ll post the original without anything redacted

I don’t have the redacted one and can’t find it on Reddit

[–]binklehoya 7 points8 points  (6 children)

just do it and make clear its a re-post rather than your own stuff.

[–]EarthquakesVolcanoes 13 points14 points  (5 children)

It’s specifically the ladies info, I’m not worried about posting the thread

I don’t know how to remove her name/number/address etc from the screenshots and the claim at the time was the thread was removed for doxxxing which is dumb. I think Reddit claimed doxing so that the whole of the thread would be thought of as a hoax

It didn’t work and the comment section put up a ton of red flags so I started screen-shotting the thread

[–]RealSpookySounds 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Just use a blackout pen on your phone or get the images up on MS paint.... Can't be that hard

[–]binklehoya 2 points3 points  (2 children)

doxxxing

got it. mods are pretty quick to quash that sort of thing.

[–]EarthquakesVolcanoes 12 points13 points  (1 child)

Someone reposted it that night with the info redacted and Reddit eventually nuked that one too

It’s funny that we are in this thread, early morning for me, and legitimately talking about mermaids.

This fucking realm / timeline is absurd

[–]earthboundmissfit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is exactly what happened. Good job!

[–]Ecoiszen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes just do a repost, or post the links here first

[–]MindOfNoNation 4 points5 points  (0 children)

that’s wild cause a mercury solution is what many believe to be the power source for the TR-3B

[–]DefiantDragon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Interesting. Please post the original screenshots on imgur and link me, should be good for a read.

Nice story bro, a bedtime story but good. Nice imagination.

[–]mrwavy 63 points64 points  (3 children)

Star Trek episode of a carbon based being who eats through stone walls in the deep shaft of a mine effortlessly. Always felt many of these episodes were based in a reality unknown to most.

[–]Geknight 24 points25 points  (2 children)

If you are referring to the Horta from the original series, they are silicon based too

[–]mrwavy 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Ah yes the Horta are Silicon based, you׳re right.

[–]ky420 8 points9 points  (0 children)

That is one of my favorite episodes of TOS

[–]X9Talionis 54 points55 points  (1 child)

That is alot to soak in. Thank you for the post. I will reread it later on today. Sometimes the truth is stranger than fiction, I was a squid myself, USN, and still find the Russian Sailor deaths interesting to this day, God, bless em too.

[–]EffTheRealLife 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Yeah I’m not going to comment on the authenticity of this post but I will be the first to say that that Russian submarine story reeked of cover-up. It genuinely felt like one of those, “it’s obviously going to get out so we need to control the narrative”stories.

[–]Miniminotaur 57 points58 points  (3 children)

Cool story bro..

Well, up to the bit where they have two eyes..

Eyes reflect light to see so if you live miles under the surface for millions of years evolution is going to skip those windows.

[–]JJ0161 26 points27 points  (1 child)

Lol right? Even creatures way nearer the surface than these fairytale creatures - for example, angler fish - have dispensed with eyes, being useless at such depths.

Bad error on the writer's part.

[–]shogun_ 10 points11 points  (0 children)

My guy they're not useless if bioluminescent fish live at that depth.

[–]fairysparkles333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Excellent intelligent observation. I almost believed some of this until I got to your comment and it reeled me back into reality.

[–]oldprogrammer 46 points47 points  (38 children)

Question - how does an aquatic species manipulate and work with metals that need to melted in fires to shape?

While I'm willing to accept intelligence can develop in marine creatures, the ability to create advance tools is hindered by lack of ability to have fire.

[–]NaFe7 63 points64 points  (9 children)

Meaning absolutely no offence, I think comments like these are extremely stubborn. A cave man would have the same perception when told he would be able to fly in sky “how duh rokz make fly”. I think sometimes we need to accept we probably don’t know shit. Our technology although possibly appearing not as advanced, could be just as puzzling to other intelligent life

[–]reallycooldude69 9 points10 points  (6 children)

I think comments like these are extremely stubborn. A cave man would have the same perception when told he would be able to fly in sky “how duh rokz make fly”.

But cavemen had almost no understanding of physics. We know how to work metal, we know what processes it undergoes as melting, we know the structure of the molecules that form the metal.

[–]joshtheflu 27 points28 points  (4 children)

Maybe it’s possible to use intense pressure instead of heat, or maybe it’s possible to use electrical currents to shape metal underwater.

I’m not saying this post is in the slightest bit credible, but I agree with the comment you responded too.

There is probably someway to shape metal precisely underwater. Just because we never had to solve that problem( for obvious reasons.) does not mean it’s impossible.

[–]GocaGola55 14 points15 points  (3 children)

Underwater welding is a thing. I still think OP is a larp but interesting read nonetheless.

[–]CKFS87 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Yep a friend off mine makes a very good living doing so

[–]fairysparkles333 3 points4 points  (1 child)

Welding or LARP lol

[–]CKFS87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Underwater welding

[–]Altruistic_Aside_979 3 points4 points  (0 children)

"But cavemen had almost no understanding of physics."

And we went from pounding rocks together to make a fire to a small handheld device that lights easily and instantly it's that same progression we find in everything that should also be applied to physics and other things.

Physics as we understand it now will likely be a whole new animal as we continue to advance and understand it move forward 100 years and its probablya sage bet that the physics you learned will be a piece from the past we got wrong.

We still have a lot to learn and you should be excited about the possibilities even the ones that cant exist because someone who thinks they're smart knows something the future won't.

[–]nisaaru 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Seriously? In water you couldn't observe a whole class of materials, chemical reactions and electricity to develop the cognitive capabilities to even start any kind of research.

How do you even develop the required gear to research outside the water environment when that gear requires research/production outside water itself?

That requires some really creative bootstrapping operation...

[–]oldprogrammer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not being stubborn, simply questioning. Our advanced society got that way because we tamed fire and metal working. Aquatic creatures would have no need to tame fire, so why would they?

[–]Shibbian 36 points37 points  (0 children)

Great point and what woukd their crafts be made of? Also Why would the silicone beings have crafts if theyre huge octopus things that eat magma and are capable of moving thru solid objects?

[–]KenniKikkit 15 points16 points  (1 child)

There are thermal vents under the ocean wayyy hotter than what we can create with fire

[–]paches12 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Duh... Under water volcano vents?

[–]Considered_Dissent 5 points6 points  (1 child)

how does an aquatic species manipulate and work with metals that need to melted in fires to shape?

Order them from China just like everyone else.

[–]2snoozy 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Intelligent life wouldn't make deals with the Chinese

[–]Feisty_Tension_1558 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To your knowledge they need to. Then again the capabilities of these craft do t fit in with our laws of physics either. I hope we can agree on that.

[–]Herpa_Derpa_Island 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you rub two waters together at a high enough speed, they get really hot.

[–]smokeypapabear40206 41 points42 points  (4 children)

Makes more sense than aliens coming from light years away to visit this shithole mud ball of a planet that humans have ruined. These poor creatures are probably looking for ways to leave!

[–]Onryokai -1 points0 points  (1 child)

Lmao! So true man...so true...

[–]BLUERHINO464 1 point2 points  (0 children)

...so...true

[–]VelvitHippo 0 points1 point  (1 child)

What animal do you think wouldn’t destroy the earth of it were the dominant species? I think destroying a planet is a life problem not a human problem.

[–]a-------s 37 points38 points  (3 children)

Long read, but I stopped when you said you used "multi-beam echo-sounders fitted to vessels, to map the seafloor in astounding detail".

If you're talking about MBES hull-mounted to a surface vessel, then what you certainly will not get is detail, even less "astounding" detail, simply because of the nature of how the beams spread and their footprint on the seabed.

If you're not talking about that, can you please elaborate?

[–]it_is_all_fake_news 3 points4 points  (2 children)

I'm sure he is about to get into great scientific detail. I await with baited breath.

[–]-SharkDog- 31 points32 points  (2 children)

I wish I could believe this. Gaddaaamn. It all sounds so fucking awesome.

[–]Shakespeare-Bot 11 points12 points  (1 child)

I wish i couldst believeth this. Gaddaaamn. T all sounds so fucking most wondrous

I am a bot and I swapp'd some of thy words with Shakespeare words.

Commands: !ShakespeareInsult, !fordo, !optout

[–]ChiefChestnut 28 points29 points  (1 child)

First off, thanks for posting and all of this is pretty interesting.

With that said, if NOAA is actually small and many know each other (not to mention you claim to be a team lead responsible for mapping the seafloor using 'multibeam echosounders fitted to vessels'), wouldn't the powers at be and your organization know who you are? If they do indeed make you 'suffer', why are you here posting specific details about yourself on Reddit? It just doesn't add up.

[–]rvnender 26 points27 points  (12 children)

I said this before but can you post any type of proof you are who you say you are.

This is a really good post with a lot of great info. But with out anything backing it, it's just a story.

[–]EarthquakesVolcanoes 25 points26 points  (10 children)

Well we had the NOAA whistleblower who left her name and number for us

Remember what happened to that thread?

[–]1THRILLHOUSE 3 points4 points  (9 children)

No?

[–]EarthquakesVolcanoes 63 points64 points  (8 children)

The lady left her name and number, literally with the NOAA Fisheries logo

She said she didn’t have a Reddit account so the post was made under an old name with a lot of Karma

Anyway the comment section got very “Agent Smith” very quickly with “users” threatening to get the authorities involved

The karma filled account and thread was deleted very very quickly

Afterwards someone posted the thread again with her info redacted and that thread was nuked like 2 weeks later, just out of nowhere

Basically I think we watched what happens when a whistleblower uses Reddit to blow the whistle

Reddit covers it up, Maxwell style.

[–]1THRILLHOUSE 7 points8 points  (7 children)

I must have missed it all, what was the thread about?

[–]EarthquakesVolcanoes 48 points49 points  (5 children)

Pretty much exactly what this thread is about

They live underwater, they are intelligent. They have weird shaped bodies and are surrounded with a gel (I think she said mercury)

Either way I have the screenshots on my mobile but they have her name and everything. Let me see if I can find a screenshot without any of her info

[–]1THRILLHOUSE 4 points5 points  (2 children)

You’ve really caught my interest, don’t let me down!

[–]EarthquakesVolcanoes 25 points26 points  (1 child)

Another screenshot without her info

https://ibb.co/PNrzkQw

[–]ShitStinkYo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was half expecting the ol' Manning face, props to you.

[–]Damn_Sega_Genesis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best LARP I ever read

[–]Michalusmichalus 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't want to integrate with us right now.

[–]cruelsummer31 20 points21 points  (4 children)

A post like this was made earlier in the year.

Looks like it got deleted unfortunately but there’s more in the comments. I also have screenshots of someone else saying stuff like this that I will try and figure out how to post it.

Edit to add;

Here are some screenshots of another person talking about this. I find this one very interesting!!

[–]Luckzzz 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Well, in this case the creatures have white eyes.. fucking dissonant somewhat to what OP posted.. don't know what to think

[–]meiso 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Who did the redacting?

[–]cruelsummer31 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe the screenshots are in the comment section of the original thread I linked above.

I just remember I took a screenshot of it to show a friend as we like talking about these things so I still had that in my photos on my iPhone!

Edit to add: sorry I didn’t answer your question but the answer is that I don’t really know.

[–]katiekat122 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It could be a LARP trying to make us believe something thats not true..cuz somehow it may fit into the narrative down the road..who really knows..the truth and lies have been merged into one..whatever info that has been posted is in the hands of the masses to create their own narrative..and quite possibly we r writing the script for them..if the concept that thoughts manifest reality is true imagine the power in a united thought stream from a large group with this belief. Its impossible to decifer the truth anymore..a lie told enough becomes the truth..thats how the human brain processes information it a proven fact. Anyways I think we should stop trying to figure it out and let whatever plays out happen without our assistance. Just my feelings.

[–]vik0_tal 21 points22 points  (2 children)

Finally, a post which isn't a twitter screenshot

[–]bzrrr 1 point2 points  (1 child)

And somehow still less evidence of anything described.

[–]vik0_tal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know. I know it's bullshit. But my bar is so low for this sub that I'd take this bs over twitter screenshots any day of the week

[–]Elecrockcity 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I love this shit. There’s some new info here, some info that I’ve seen, all of it is interesting though. I hope it’s real, it would explain so much.

OP, you ever thought about The Law of One? I keep coming back to that operating system making the most sense in terms of existence of non-human intelligent/sentient species.

Also, this only makes me more convinced that the movie Luca that Disney suddenly decided to release has more to do with disclosure than you may initially think.

[–]ghostmetalblack 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I've seen The Abyss too.

[–]spacedman_spiff 17 points18 points  (1 child)

Purports to have truth about ET.

Doesn't know what "ET" means.

[–]binklehoya 17 points18 points  (5 children)

makes sense that us primates are hardly the sole intelligent species on a planet that's been around over 3 billion years.

makes sense there's forms of life that can handle conditions extreme to us humans. there's likely some sort of life forms on the sun as well. all life needs to succeed is a way to convey information/reproduce.

great post!

any thoughts on why the aquatic beings haven't gotten tired of humanity's pollution and acted to restrain our habits?

[–]ChannerT 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We probably won't hear back from OP but if these beings can travel as claimed there's really no reason to worry about staying here.

[–]CKFS87 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've always been baffled by our "conditions for life" when we no there is life that lives in what is considered extreme habitats. Microscopic life I believe, but it seems like other beings could grow in circumstances much different than humans.

Interesting read this is for sure, but who knows. I'm not going to shit on OP or claim to be a believer. I just enjoyed reading it.

[–]VelvitHippo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What makes you think they aren’t contributing to the problem?

[–]pauly13771377 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Do you have any evidence? Otherwise none of this carries any more weight than the ramblings of a child.

[–]Aggravating-Cry5289 12 points13 points  (0 children)

"there are actually openings on the bottoms of these appendages, kind of like mouths, but they are actually used for propulsion through the water at high speeds."

Hahaha this is a great piece of fiction

[–]ALPHAROBA 9 points10 points  (0 children)

That was a nice story

[–]onlytostalk 11 points12 points  (0 children)

So when they attack us will they allow Jason momoa to live

[–]island_roots 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I see a lot of things lately about UFOs coming from the water ... when I lived on the island of Puerto Rico my grandfather would tell me about the "lights" that come down from the sky and that there are "caves" under the island and that's where they come from ...then I had heard stories from other people on the island with almost identical stories about where the "lights" come from and apparently it's been passed down for a very long time ...I honestly thought he was bat shit crazy , until I saw one at EXTREMELY close distance (which I actually seeked counseling for because I had no rational explanation ) and have literally lost count at this point how many times I've seen these since then ....... idk if this will help anyone but that story of lights coming from the water is very old and I'd suggest looking around Puerto Rico because lots of people claim it to be true ...including myself at this point

[–]dakinatorcrypto 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Very interesting read!

[–]Warring_Angel 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Hi, “Bob” here reporting from the Naval Special Projects Corps #33. I have special intel on a kraken-like creature that sips on magma slurpees at the bottom of the sea before launching into inter dimensional space protected by a metallic turtle shell grown by means not currently understood by science. “They” tried to shut me up by killing my grandma and blaming it on the flu but in the name of humanity I’m posting this on Reddit anyway. Oh no, oh no! SWAT team is at my door! Aaaarrrrrggg Transmission Ended

[–]demonspawns_ghost 9 points10 points  (2 children)

u/noaa_throwaway

149 days old, 28,840 karma, three posts, no comments.

Come on guys, you can't possibly be this gullible. This post will be linked in TMOR or some other harrassment sub so they can get a good laugh at your expense.

[–]ringoron9 2 points3 points  (1 child)

How do you get that much karma with only three posts?

[–]demonspawns_ghost 8 points9 points  (0 children)

They purge their post history.

[–]ringoron9 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately none of this has any proof.

In addition, I have some problems with some of the points:

How does something with bonded molecules move through other bonded molecules?

Those structures they inhabit would have been distorted echo readings (s? p? waves) of the inner crust. That is not the case, to my knowledge.

If they enter our atmosphere, there have to be huge holes somewhere. They would have popped up on some satellite imagery or seen from private planes.

If the fishpeople move at "impossible" speeds underwater we should hear a kind of sonic boom deep in the oceans. Due to all the microphones we have worldwide we would have heard it.

How would they access our transatlantic cables without cutting them? That would have been seen if suddenly half the world had no internet connection anymore.

[–]the_tater_salad 8 points9 points  (2 children)

this community sometimes...everyone bitches about the generic political election posts, but then someone posts an actual theory, which is feasible, and yall still bitch about it.

[–]JackJ98 0 points1 point  (1 child)

which is feasible

Huh???

[–]the_tater_salad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

maybe feasible was the wrong word.

[–]juliaxyz 10 points11 points  (1 child)

Russian submarine called Losharick. Forgive me for breaking out my emoji 😂😂😂 in Russian Losharick is a slang for a gullible person who is easy to full, particularly with stories like this one. Whoever wrote this BS surly knew that.

[–]MindOfNoNation 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Are you dumb lol. A quick google search will pull up the actual Losharick. The submarine is real, the story might not be

[–]fairysparkles333 7 points8 points  (3 children)

Wonder how much these creative writers are getting paid to write these stories to try to set up a narrative. It sure seems like the whole UFO narrative is being pushed HARD lately. There has to be an underlying reason. It seemed before it was all viewed as fairy tale fiction. Now it’s as if it’s being told as gospel. Something is up folks. That’s the REAL conspiracy here.

[–]JamesIsAnger 0 points1 point  (2 children)

It is just some shit poster trying to get a rise out of y'all.

[–]fairysparkles333 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Maybe. But interesting how someone mentioned that there was a very similar post before that got deleted and the media sure seems to be pushing the narrative too. Are they just trying to “get a rise” out of people? Or is it a diversion for something else going on?

[–]JamesIsAnger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't look into what internet trolls have to say too deeply it is best to ignore them. Sometimes they go away.

[–]Pants4YourPants 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I mean, you’d think we’d have plenty of contact, hostile or not, with them by now with how humanity treats earths oceans.

[–]willtron_ 7 points8 points  (0 children)

L. Ron Hubbard, is that you?

[–]ziplock9000 6 points7 points  (1 child)

>Whether you believe any of this or not is up to you

It's not about a matter of belief or not, you don't have a single shred of evidence which means this is little more than a small sci-fi story until you do.

BTW, There was a TOS episode on this, Spock managed to mind-meld with it.

[–]ChewMyMeatForYou 6 points7 points  (3 children)

This is all bullshit. There's no highly evolved, notboundtothelawsofscience creatures on Earth or nearby observation.

We're all just corporate slaves, on a highly toxic planet that will be destroyed. Happy Independence Day, y'all.

If there's ever aliens, it's the gawddamn government lasershow.

[–]EarthquakesVolcanoes 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I agree with you but I do think there is something to water / entities

[–]mcy33zy 1 point2 points  (1 child)

i've been trying to find the thread on the government employee who claimed he was purchasing supplies for project blue beam...it goes into great deal with several updates and then abruptly stops. it's a good read, like this one.

The beings discovered here thrive in temperatures ranging from 1000°c - 3500°c.

They have vehicles that can enter/leave the planet's atmosphere.

Imagine the heating bill they have to keep their space craft cabins at 1000°c - 3500°c

[–]DesertRose333 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Great post, so nice to hear something not about politics or the usual q anon crap that's taken over this sub. What are your thoughts on the reptilian theory, that they live underground, or also I've heard stories of an underground base in Antarctica?

[–]tlj2494 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I know this is gonna take some shit for lack of evidence and I’d love if there some provided. Having said that this kind of content is what this sub should be about. We all hate how political this sub has become so let’s embrace getting back to our roots.

[–]Apprehensive-Log4125 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Nice story i think your creative writing teacher will give you a solid B+

[–]kubricktwobricks 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Bro worked for YEARS for the NOAA but his first post on this account is for a free android VPN. Guess being high enough in the ranks to know about aliens and shit still means you can't throw a large sum of $ like $10 per month on a VPN. I also wonder how they figured out the underground non-aliens aren't hostile? Since they're sentient, did a mexican miner stumble upon them and was greeted with La Cucaracha Horn coming out of the four extra appendages on top of the head?

[–]TheGruesomeTwosome 5 points6 points  (1 child)

I find it a little strange that at least one of your paragraphs is simply copy-pasted from a New York Times article. I’m just saying… I wouldn’t have thought a multi-decade spanning professional would need to be researching materials for their own essay in mainstream media. I just feel like you’d be wanting to use your own words and not having to read articles about what you’re purporting to know.

Full article

Specific lifted paragraph

[–]Varane_TOTY 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Its all a larp lol

[–]NotUniqueUsernameee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Losharik, could in fact dive much deeper than the typical American (and every other countries’ typical submarine, including Russia’s). America has it’s own deep-diving platform for research and rescue, like the DSV Limiting Factor, with the deepest manned dive ever recorded.

[–]West-Band4140 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If these things are true, then remember these are demons. Below the description in Revelation:

Revelation 16:13-16 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty. Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame. And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.

[–]mcmaster93 3 points4 points  (2 children)

This reminds of a couple months back in this sub when this happened and there was an apparent "whistleblower" coming forward talking about how the media was bs and that it was an alien craft (I think the media was trying to say it was a transformer explosion?) anyways... if I'm not mistaken that person also claimed to be working for the NOAA... I'm not going to look for the post but idk kinda interesting story . If I remember correctly that person went on to post their credentials and ID and I think the post got blocked but it was super interesting and this post reminds me of that. OP is either lying and drawing influence from that incident last year or maybe is telling the truth . Idk does anyone else remember what I'm talking about???

There’s no way in hell the underwater species would allow all the underwater nuclear testing and not make itself known.
Same for the magma people.

If they are intelligent beings, they know the power of nuclear weapons and would be affected by them and NOT FUCKING TRUST US with them.

So, “the Abyss” would become a documentary.

I’ll bet the government is going to announce that all the UFOs and stuff are not external aliens but earth-living aliens. Then, they will announce all these new technologies from them.

“they are peaceful and they want nothing to do with our civilization, but they have offered us new technologies to clean up our planet.”

Why now? Why not before? Why have these benevolent species with superior technologies allowed us to destroy our planet for the past 100 years with oil and harsh chemicals and pollution and nuclear weapons testing and warfare and bloodshed and all the other nonsense? Why have they allowed us to genetically modify things? To spray chemicals that leech into the ground and water?

It would affect them! They would’ve spoken up sooner!

This is a setup for something. The timing is too convenient.

One way or another we are being lied to.

[–]solfire1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Here’s the thing..this could all be made up for sure. But part of delving into the world of conspiracy does involve a bit of speculation. There’s enough UFO/UAP evidence from high ranking military personnel to make this story believable. However, the lack of personal evidence in this particular testimony does make this feel more like free form.

[–]Kumquat_conniption 2 points3 points  (1 child)

If I was an underwater advanced race and I witnessed how humans are polluting my ocean habitat with hundreds of millions of tons of plastics, oil spills, trash, all while using it as a nuke test site - I'd be pretty pissed.

A few warnings would come first, then I wouldn't be so kind anymore.

I wonder why this hasn't happened yet? Or has it and has the underwater nuke testing stopped because of it?

[–]pulpheroe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My brother works in the air-force and he has told me about this, so I believe you.
Also, I know why you are disclosing it without fear... The government is planning to disclose this to the public very soon. Literally all low rank military, air-force and officials already know this.
Now it's about time for the public to know.

And given how we handled the pandemic and the shock of quarantine and got used to it so quickly, I think they know we are ready for the shock of this info.

We are going to freak out from about 3 months, like we did with Quarantine, but then seeing the news about these creatures all over Fox, NBC, YouTube is going to make us slowly get desensitized towards it and we'll get used to it.

The problem is that they going to use this for political purposes, an entire advanced civilization occupying the world's entire ocean floor is a huge danger.

If they arrange with them and negotiate a "Fake Invasion"... man, thats going to be the jackpot for the government

[–]YourYoureIDC 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This zone is about 3 layers away from Earth's inner core.

How can the Earth's molten core be magnetic?.. metals lose their magnetism at their Curie point. Ever think of created layers or dimensions on a flat plane instead of layers of mathematical models on a spinning globe?

[–]ringoron9 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Actually, as far as we know, the magma currents around the core are creating the magnetic field of Earth, not the core itself.

You don't even need to read all of that to know that. Why would someone with some sort of special knowledge write about it on reddit? Its a very common tactic on other websites to get people to waste their time and get them to focus their energy on something else to distract them. Basically a shill

[–]moboforro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

[–]Riggedit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

[–]3rdtimeischarmy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is amazing, and something I love. We know jack shit about the oceans, the ocean floors, and what's down there. It doesn't seem as credible that aliens visited our planet, the Milky Way is staggeringly big. The next planet over is breathtakingly far away.

It does seem plausible that there is a city at the bottom of the ocean with beings that figured out how to depressurize and/or can live under pressure.

Anyway, I'm here for this. Thanks for sharing OP.

How is FLIR on an F-18 clearly watching something move in complete defiance of gravity, shifting position while in mid air, not good evidence? I can understand your skepticism when it comes to aliens being the pilots of these craft. But the EXISTENCE of these craft isn’t a fucking opinion, it’s documented and even acknowledged and released by the Pentagon. 20+ year Navy Pilot, an officer’s word and sworn statement versus Andersledes’ Reddit monologue. I think it’s clear who’s opinion is more credible.

If these creatures did live underwater some private companies would have definitely encountered them and the word would be spread fast. I could believe small bases but to suggest a whole underwater breakaway society of creatures is too hard to believe with how many companies and private citizens can freely enter these waters. Not sure oil drilling will exactly have these guys thrilled

[–]3lhanan 0 points1 point  (1 child)

"Saucers, tictacs, orbs, cubes, triangles, and countless other forms are still reported daily. Even underwater, the craft we are aware differ drastically. I've seen typical, nondescript egg shapes, perfectly round metallic orbs, and even flat, disk shaped craft..."

1)No evidence? You've seen all of this but never had a cellphone or camera close enough to take a pic?

2)No retorts from OP throughout the entire thread. That's something a liar would do.

...seems like some Q'ish fictional bs to me.

No proof.. no data... no pictures.. flaws in this story aswell.. like they would threaten you and you post it anyway on reddit.. (and not other more secure site).. even knowing NOAA is a small group.. they would know who leaked the info in a matter of minutes.. of course USOs are a thing.. but IMHO they are not from earth.. they probably gets parked at sea .. maybe using the cloak tech requires some more power to activate.. at the sea they don't need that.. nobody will bother them.. maybe there's a few submarine bases made by ets.. but I'm certain they prefer using our government to build that for them on land (as they work together).. ;)

[–]afterburner9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really good read and lots of fun ideas. However… a geologist, I find it pretty hard to believe there would be caves in the asthenosphere… in fact, I’m going to go ahead and say it’s impossible. The pressure that far underground is IMMENSE, and any void space down there would likely get filled with molten rock, not to mention that the rock down there is too ductile (due to heat) to even support void space. The rock would just bend inward on itself and wouldn’t be stiff enough to support a cave. Disclaimer: I do not specialize in studying the asthenosphere so let me know if there’s some abnormality I’m missing here.

What career path would one take if they wanted to be involved in things like this? I’d imagine it’s military access only.

I would wonder how adaptable they are since found in a freshwater lake and saltwater oceans. I mean are we saying they are a terrestrial species?

Interesting to think about. AND Also, Terrific Post. I won't say I'm convinced, but I like to experience and understand how other people think, and how they connect the dots

Thanks for this post.

The ufo/uap do splash when they breach water. We’ve seen that footage from the pentagon.

Thank you and your friend! This is fantastic and I was just thinking yesterday about that sub and the Lake Baikal incident 1982 or 83.

I worked for an analytical lab in Seattle we did a lot of work for you folks. Mostly sterilizing your equipment. But a few intriguing thing's came to me, testing for metal's and such.

100 believe you always have!!!!!

Now tell them about these species and how they relate to the breakaway human civilization known as Terramar. If you are who you say you are you know what I'm talking about.

10/10 for an old school conspiracy post, though I would have appreciated some mention of a Lost City of Hydrothermal or the like.

[–]mcsniper66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like much of the bits and pieces I’ve heard about over the years but never heard of that octopus like species!

People've been to the bottom of the Challenger Deep. Get your facts straight when you larp.

I'm sure the underwater beings are thrilled that we set the ocean on fire a couple days ago.

Ain't no voids in the asthenosphere, dawg. See Bowie and Mercury, 1981 for reference.

The Losharik’s crew complement was made up of 25 men ALL OFFICERS. The seven who died in the “fire” were all of captain rank. Whatever they were doing was very classified and high risk.

Some ships are mile wide. They come from space. Not Earth.

"More on their appearance; Humanoid with trunk-like appendages at the bottom of the torso. Milky white skin, completely black eyes, including the sclera. Hairless, extremely thin compared to the average human. Arms end with hands that look like a flipper, with 3 digits instead of 5 like us."

These mfs are from a literal horror film

Does anyone else have a link to the post where the woman actually disclosed her full name and rank and her duties for her day to day job? She spoke of translucent beings that were humanoid underwater and appeared like holograms. It was a pretty extensive post.
